1. Introduction

Welcome to Studentify ("Studentify", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Studentify website, mobile applications, AI learning tools, educational content, tutoring and practice features, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, accessing, or using Studentify, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. About Studentify

Studentify is an educational technology platform that helps students learn more effectively through AI-powered tutoring, personalized learning experiences, practice questions, past exam questions, mock tests, progress tracking, and study planning.

We are constantly improving, so we may add, modify, or retire features over time. Such improvements may affect how parts of the Platform look or behave.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

To use Studentify you must:

• Be at least the minimum age required by applicable law in your country, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian; and
• Provide accurate, up-to-date information when creating your account.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password secure and never share your login details. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create multiple accounts to misuse promotional offers or the Platform's features.

4. Acceptable Use

Studentify is intended for lawful, educational purposes. When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Upload, submit, or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or that violates others' rights;
• Attempt to access another user's account, or the systems that power the Platform, without permission;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or replicate the Platform's code, content, or data at scale;
• Use the Platform to spam, mislead, or harass anyone;
• Interfere with the availability or security of the service for other users.

We may remove any user content that we believe violates these rules.

5. AI Features

Studentify's AI features, including the Sade assistant, provide educational assistance and are designed to help you learn — not to replace professional advice or your own verification.

AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. Please verify important information with trusted educational sources, and always double-check anything that feels uncertain.

6. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Studentify, such as essays, notes, and questions you upload.

By submitting content, you grant Studentify a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, display, process, and use that content to operate, improve, and protect the Platform and its services.

The Studentify name, logo, features, and original content remain our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

7. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Schools and parents using Studentify for students are responsible for obtaining any parental permission required by applicable law.

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Some features are paid, including subscriptions and credit packs. Payments are processed by approved payment providers (such as Paystack) and are subject to their terms.

• Subscriptions provide a set of benefits over a billing period. Renewal and cancellation rules depend on the specific plan you choose.
• Credit packs are bought for immediate use.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with each plan's terms and applicable consumer rights.

You are responsible for any fees associated with your chosen payment method. Keep your billing details accurate so payments process without interruption.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, and Studentify is one part of a healthy study routine;
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform;
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Platform in the applicable period.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe the account violates these Terms or applicable law. When possible, we will give you notice and a chance to respond.

You may stop using Studentify at any time. Some obligations — such as the license you grant in Section 6 and the warranties and limitations in Section 9 — continue to apply after you leave.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, the law, or how we operate. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.

If you continue to use Studentify after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't, please stop using the Platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to the consumer protections that apply to you where required by law.
